Hi, I’m Mary, the baker and decorator behind Miss Sweets Tweets!

For years, I spent my days as an elementary school teacher, helping little learners grow. Teaching was a joy, but over time, the creative parts of the job—the ones that let me dream up fun projects and colorful activities—started to disappear. I’ve always been a crafty, hands-on person, and I found myself craving a new way to express that creativity.

That’s when cookies found me.

I had tried plenty of crafts over the years, but nothing ever felt truly useful—until I started decorating cookies. Suddenly, I had a creative outlet that combined art and purpose. Each cookie became a tiny, edible canvas, and the best part? They’re not just beautiful—they’re delicious and bring joy to everyone who takes a bite!

 

What started as a hobby quickly turned into Miss Sweets Tweets, a little cookie business built from love, creativity, and royal icing. Now, I get to design cookies for life’s sweetest moments—from birthdays and weddings to baby showers and holidays—and share my creativity in the tastiest way possible.
